If a date is listed under SCHS, this means that the newspaper is available at the Stevens County Historical Society in Colville. KFPL means that the Kettle Falls Public Library has that newspaper. The (*) indicates these are original newspapers (not microfilm). "Inc" indicates incomplete coverage. Other repositories for these newspapers include Eastern Washington University at Cheney, Washington State University at Pullman, University of Washington at Seattle, the Washington State Library in Olympia and the Washington State Archives in Olympia.

Update to this list....the Colville Public Library now has the Colville Examiner 1907 - 1910 on CD and March 21, 1908 - April 30, 1948 on microfilm

The Northeast Washington Genealogical Society has the Stevens County Miner on microfilm. It is by no means a complete collection of that newspaper, but what issues there are cover the years 1888 and 1889
