The Colville Public Library is the main repository for the NeWGS collection. We have a large amount of resources available to us as researchers with a collection of over 800 books, microfilm and CDs available to all library patrons. If you have a Stevens county library card, some of our collection may even be checked out and taken home to study. Most of our collection is listed in the online catalog for the Stevens County Rural Library District. You can also download our Holdings List to your home computer or print it out for future reference. Be sure to download both files....one is the Table of Contents and the other is the listing of our Holdings by Category. Both files are in pdf format. The library computer dedicated to genealogy research and the use of our CD collection has gone belly up and the library is unable to replace it. Therefore our CD collection is available via our traveling library to NeWGS members only. (see "Genealogy CDs") |
